Sales & Business Development Intern

About Ablebook

Ablebook is Cyprus's leading digital platform for people with disabilities and vulnerable groups. We combine technology, social innovation, and community to improve accessibility across the island — and increasingly, across Europe.

Our platform includes AbleMap (interactive accessibility map with 1,000+ locations), AbleCard (disability membership and benefits card), AbleJobs (inclusive employment board), and the Ablebook Portal (B2B/B2G management back office). We work with over 250 businesses, 14 municipalities, and multiple government ministries. Ablebook is recognised by the European Commission as a Good Practice in accessibility innovation and has received the OEB Social Innovation Award 2023 and the KEBE Young Enterprising Award 2023.

We are now entering a period of accelerated growth — including a major EU-funded (ESF) project launching in September 2026 — and are looking for a driven intern to help us expand our partner network.

The Role

This is not a typical internship. You will be working directly with the founders, taking real ownership of business development tasks that directly impact our growth. If you are motivated by social impact and want hands-on experience in B2B sales and startup operations, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach potential partner businesses for the AbleMap and AbleCard programmes
  • Support outreach to employers interested in posting inclusive job opportunities on AbleJobs
  • Assist in preparing and delivering client presentations and meetings
  • Support onboarding of new partners to the Ablebook platform and portal
  • Maintain CRM records and track the sales pipeline
  • Contribute to partnership communications and follow-ups with existing partners
  • Support the preparation of materials related to our upcoming EU-funded project
